Classic literature like Wuthering Heights often feels inaccessible to modern readers. The challenge was to reimagine this gothic masterpiece with a visual identity that captures its dark, stormy essence for a contemporary audience.
Strategy
The strategy focused on "visual atmosphere," using a moody aesthetic to reflect the novel’s intense emotional landscape. By pairing evocative textures with bold typography, the design brings the haunting nature of the moors into a modern editorial format.
Process
I analyzed themes of obsession and revenge to develop a custom color palette and moodboard. I then experimented with organic textures and layered compositions for the cover and interior layouts, supported by cohesive digital and print promotional assets.
Impact
